The construction of the new Washtenaw County District Court Building (14A-1)
and Jail Expansion at the County Service Center has begun.
The project is expected to take approximately two
(2) years, finishing in the latter half of 2010, and will require some
rerouting for those who use the Service Center.
-
The west side of the parking lot at the Service Center (the
area closest to the Hogback Road entrance) is closed and will remain
closed until the end of the construction project in
2010.
-
The Washtenaw Avenue entrance, through St. Luke’s Church
parking lot, will be the main entrance to the Service Center throughout
the construction project.
-
The Hogback Road entrance to the Service Center is closed
to all public traffic.
-
Parking is still available at the east end of the lot,
closer to the County’s Learning Resource Center, with overflow spaces
available in the St. Luke's Church parking lot.
